What is Dipole field ?

The electric field produced by an electric dipole is called a dipole field. The total charge of the electric dipole is zero but dipole field is not zero.
👉 It can be found using Coulomb’s law and the superposition principle.

1. Electric field at an axial point of an electric dipole

Let us find the electric field at the point P at a distance r from the center of the dipole on the axial line of the dipole.
